  5. Compulsory race briefing 15 mins before your race start time
  6. Only can rego on the day: entry fees:

Interclub: rego 0800 – 0900 am the earlier the better please :). We’d like Bathurst and Orange folks to rego early, easier then for Cowra, Mudgee and Dubbo who have furthest to travel. And Orange folks can help marshall once they’ve registered.

• $15 for Triathlon Australia members – note Piranhas pay today as well
• $25 for non-members and sign waiver form
• $30 for teams
• $5 for all under 18 triathletes

Enticer: rego 0730 – 0815 am

• $10 for Triathlon Australia members
• $15 for non-members and sign waiver form
• $15 for teams
• $5 for all under 18 triathletes

Juniors (under 18): All $5: rego 30 mins before your race start, race briefing 15 mins before. If you’re not sure what race to do, look at the swim distance and pick the race that matches your swim comfort.

We meet at the BBQ area in the heart of Gosling Creek. Note the new venue…don’t go to Lake Canobolas!

We will have Orange Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic (Harry Fardell), Cocos Coffee Van (Janelle ‘Coco’ Petrie) and Dipping Dots ice cream truck. Prizes galore and a gift for each junior when they cross the finish line. Bush nippers for water safety and certified First Aid. BBQ and watermelon at the end. Gosling will be the place on Sunday morning. Forecast is 30 degrees.

  1. Maps for courses are on the club website: https://octc.org.au/race-maps/
  2. Registration will be on the day only (no pre online rego). We expect 50 x Kinross students – you need to come to rego, say which race you will do and be marked off and pay the $5
  3. Enticer and Interclub placings go towards the Central West Interclub trophy
  4. Note the transition area will be tweaked from standard Gosling club race, so Piranhas note there could be some changes!

A couple of words on safety for athletes and parents:

  1. pls be aware the internal bike loop is between the toilet block and playground / transition – you and your children must be vigilant with bikes whizzing along there
  2. pls listen as there will be times when transition will open and close, and when you can take bikes out as rack space will be needed for later races
  3. your helmet must be a snug fit and be able to be buckled up – if not you cannot race

The Orange Tri Club can’t wait to see you on Sunday!
