2020 / 2021 Membership Renewal information

TNSW have recently announced that 12 month membership prices will be reduced across all categories by 5% during the months of June and July. This discount is a gesture of Triathlon NSW/Triathlon Australia’s appreciation to those who are in a position to renew now, when we need it most:

From the latest TNSW newsletter:

“Now more than ever, the sport requires those who can, to renew.

It’s not lost on us that 5% is a small reduction. We are under no illusions that this will not be enough for some, and we understand that it will have a small impact on whether members choose to renew. We know for some of you, triathlon is not high on your list of priorities right now. However, it as a small but heartfelt response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of you will be disappointed by this, but as a not-for-profit organisation there is a financial threshold required to run the sport.

After months of financial modelling, projections and with a lot unknowns still to be played out, Triathlon Australia and all State & Territory Presidents resolved this to be the responsible fiscal position to keep the sport viable.

We understand this pandemic has hit some harder than others, and still impacting lives.  If you aren’t able to sign up for membership, we are still here to support you”.

Triathlon NSW are encouraging members who are experiencing difficulty renewing their membership to make contact with their local club or TNSW directly by emailing Adam Wicks: adam.wicks@nsw.triathlon.org.au

Please don’t be silent –  have faith in the sport and be in touch with us to discuss options available to you. Orange Triathlon Club can be contacted by email to: octc@octc.org.au
