Orange is again hosting the TNSW Junior Super Sprint Triathlon Championships at Gosling Creek on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29th.

The weekend is now the Premier Short Course Junior Triathlon weekend in NSW and the flagship event NEW Belligence Pathway Championships, a 5 round state series for under 23, junior and youth triathletes. Orange brings 150 athletes and their families together from all over the state and all triathlon abilities.

Saturday morning is registration, group coaching sessions and a Super Sprint Aquathon, Saturday afternoon is the heats and finals for the TNSW Super Sprint Championships for draft legal athletes and a Super Sprint Transition Triathlon for non – drafting athletes.

Sunday morning is a Dash Triathlon for the smaller juniors,  Super Sprint Triathlon for non – drafting athletes and the TNSW Mixed Team Relay Championships for drafting athletes, these teams are made up from the TNSW Championships – this racing is short, fast and a lot of fun. It’s a very busy weekend for the athletes, lots of racing, coaching but as important the social catch up for the kids.

Mick Delamotte is the NSW Junior Pathway Coach and invites all of our Central West Club Junior’s and Coacher’s  to be involved,  NSW Professional Triathlete Nathan Breen will be on course to commentate the 2 days of racing.

For this event to work volunteers are needed over the weekend.
