Piranhas hit the Sunshine Coast

The beaches of the Sunshine Coast will be safe this weekend with a number of Piranhas competing in Ironman 70.3 at Mooloolaba. It is a well known fact that sharks cower at the sight of a Piranha.

Competing are:-
Jess Richards
James Robson
Michael Lockyer

Jess is using the race as training as she continues to build for Kona. She is in the form of her life and ready to race. This is Robbo’s second race at this distance and he is keen to debut his new lime green Merida. You won’t miss Robbo on the bike course. Michael will be just happy to make the starting line.

Mooloolaba is hosting the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2016, this years race is a sell out as every pro and age group champion both try to qualify and gain experience on the course. A full race report will follow after the weekend.
( We apologise if we have missed anyone else competing at Mooloolaba )
