Congratulations – Piranhas win the Central West Interclub Series 2020/2021
FORAGER CENTRAL WEST TRIATHLON LEAGUE GRAND FINAL RESULTS
Congratulations Piranhas. A huge effort throughout the 2020/2021 Interclub series has put us on the top of the Central West results once again.
It’s been a tough year, getting back into racing after Covid but we had consistency with each event and kept the points rolling in. Well done on your individual results across the series.
Thankyou to all those who raced and travelled. Also a huge Thankyou to the Central West Clubs who hosted the events and shared the camaraderie of participating together. Always great to meet up with our fellow CW triathletes.
The report below is from Tri NSW
After a close-knit season with stand-out performances by a number of clubs, the
Orange Cycle & Triathlon Club – The Piranhas have taken out their second ICL title following the grand final round hosted by the Dubbo Triathlon Club last weekend.
The Mudgee Triathlon ClubDevils managed to shake-up the competition by beating the
Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon Club by 2 points in the grand final, leading to a tied 2nd place finish.
The most outstanding result at the grand final was from hometown hosts the Dubbo Tri Club, who came out in force on the day to earn 20.5 points, their best result for the season.
Cowra Triathlon Club did not feature at Dubbo and finished the season with 7.5 points on the ladder.
Our thanks go to these five great Central West clubs and their committees and volunteers for supporting another year of the ICL. We appreciate the time and effort that goes into organising these races, and look forward to next season being even bigger. Thank you also to Interclub Series sponsor
Forager Funds Management for their support of club triathlon in NSW.
