Results at All School at Penrith 21 Feb 2024
Our school aged members had a great set of results at the All Schools at Penrith on 21 Feb:
Ethan Petschel represented Orange Anglican Grammer well in the Seniors Solo.
Twisty’s Triple Threats
- Will Robinson: a Bronze Medal in the CHS intermediates division
- Bianca de Swadt:10th overall senior female
- Sam Bayada: in his first year of seniors finished 17th overall and 7th in CCC
- Amy Sullivan: finished 8th in CHS
- Isaac Eccleston: strong ride and 8th in CHS
- Jos Dirs: 12th overall in the Intermediates and 5th CCC
- Joey Eccleston: also strong ride like his bro (and mum and dad) in his Juniors event
Kinross athletes also represented their school well:
- In the Juniors Solo: Sam Commins: 12th in Male Juniors overall and Charlie Harris, Grace Segar in the Juniors
- In the Intermediate Solo: Ashton Montagliani, Imogen Christmas, Anna Childs
- In the Seniors Solo: Zoe Wood, Jessica Thmpson, Tim Lowther, George Hogg
- In Teams: 4th in Junior Male Relay, 4th in Intermediate Female Relay, 5th in Senior Male and teams in Junior Female, Intermediate Male, Senior Female and Senior Female
Well done to all of our school age athletes, hope to see all of you at Dubbo this Sunday.
Results at Husky Sun 25 Feb 2024
We had 5 members and 1 team compete at Husky
- Super Sprint Liesel Haberecht 7th in age group 20-29 in 00:39:57
- Sprint Josiah Dirs finished 3rd in his age group – 14-15yrs – 1:05:59
- Clydesdales Adrian Thearle finished 27th in 1:42:14.
- Classic Distance Peter Coombe finished 1st in Clydesdale category in 3:03:57
- Classic Jo Coombe finished 2nd in age group 45-49 in 3:20:44
- Classic Distance Relay: Tristan Harrison teamed up with Hallee Potter (Mudgee) and Bianca de Swardt to have a great team race finishing 6th in the mixed relay category and 12th overall in 2:57:54

Grand Final for Interclub Sun 03/03 in Dubbo – a school of Piranhas heading north
Sunday 03/03 is d-day in Dubbo for round four (and the final round) of the Central West Interclub series. Let’s have a big school of Piranhas head up the road to Dubbo as we battle it out with Bathurst and Mudgee for season 23/24 line honours. Participation is crucial for points and only five points separate the top three clubs.

09:30am: Sprint (14+): 500m swim / 18km bike / 4km run
09:45am: Super Sprint (12+): 125m swim / 9km bike / 2km run
Location: Ollie Robbins Oval, Dubbo
Event check in from 08:30am, compulsory briefing at 09:15am, rego open til 6pm Sat 02 Mar – nil on the day rego
