Volunteers required for OCTC duathlon – THIS SUNDAY
Thank all the volunteers who put their hand up for the Breaking of Ice. Obviously many of the regular volunteers just jumped in and helped get the job done and as always thank you. Further to this many first time racers, their partners or parents were also there on the day willing to help out and did an awesome job whether at the registration table, turn around points, on the BBQ or elsewhere, so thank you.
Just a reminder that with the birth of our new website, we have added functionality to enable you to nominate yourself to the volunteer roster found here: https://octc.org.au/volunteer/. Members please if you feel have any capacity on the day to help out jump on to the site and put your name down. If you are unsure of the requirements of the role don’t be deterred, just put your name down and we will be more than happy to discuss and support you on the day, no role needs to be undertaken solo.
With the second OCTC duathlon on this weekend it is time again to ask if anyone is able to help out in any volunteering roles. Many regular helpers will be racing in Adelaide at the duathlon world champs, so we need all the help we can get from other club members.
Remember, the club is about supporting each other, we welcome members, friends, parents, grandparents and supporters to become involved. Please put your hand up for a job! Without volunteers we cannot race!
