Become a Piranha
Orange Triathlon Club welcomes new members. It costs $35 to join the club ($15.50 for under 18s) after you join Triathlon Australia. Some benefits of joining the Orange Piranhas include:
- A way to meet like-minded triathletes from Orange and the region
- Free entry for all Club duathlons, triathlons, and open water swims at Gosling Creek – we will host six race days this season
- Represent the Piranhas (and free entry) in the Central West Interclub series in Bathurst, Dubbo, Mudgee and our own Orange event
- We do ask for volunteers to help set up, marshall and pack up our events, and give a few hours to our single fundraising event of the season which is our annual Juniors Triathlon weekend, usually held in November and goes over a day and a half. None of it is hard, and surrounded by fellow members who can steer you on how you can help out
There are some great benefits of becoming a member of Aus Triathlon including insurance coverage, priority entry at some races and triathlon related product discounts – not to mention you can’t become a Piranha without doing so!
When you sign up to Aus Triathlon make sure you select the “Club” option for the Membership Fee, then select NSW Membership and finally Orange Triathlon Club. You will be registered with all 3 organisations in the one process. Couldn’t be simpler! At the moment, a family gets a 20% discount.
