Here are preliminary point score from the Dubbo interclub today. Thanks Dubbo for a great race today. The organisation was superb from comprehensive audible briefing to the multiple kayaks in the river, great course and the ice down your back was sesnsational-well done.
About 115 competitors and 30 odd Orange Piranhas competed today in beautiful conditions. Despite the dire warnings of the heat it actually wasn’t too bad with a nice breeze-make that a hefty head wind coming home on the bike.
As Amy Sullivan said “that was a waste of a good down hill run”
Racing was scorching with some very quick times-results will be up soon. The Orange men didn’t podium but were very strong in the lesser placing’s and once again the women showed the way-Jane Fardell(Dubbo) was first quickly followed by Jess Richards, Janet Martin and Christine Wolfson. So great to have you back racing Christine.
