Open Water Swim Series – cancelled
The committee has received advice that the water quality in Gosling Creek is unsuitable for recreational use. The Open Water Swim Series has been cancelled as a result.
Central West Interclub – Dubbo – Sunday 9 February
The third race of the Central West Interclub Series is scheduled to be held in Dubbo this Sunday. We’re calling all Piranhas to come out and help defend our winning position. The weather is predicted to be cooler and possibly wet… but hey – that’s a great change on the weather of late. Pack your gear and join us for a fun morning along the Macquarie River.
There are three race options to choose from:
– Mini: (10yrs and over) 125m river Swim, 2km Bike (off Road), 1km Run
– Super Sprint: (12yrs and over) 125m river Swim, 9km Bike (on road), 2km Run
– Sprint: (14yrs and older) 500m river Swim, 18km Bike (on road), 4km Run
Any race can be done as an “Individual” or as a “Team” (2 or 3 people)

8:30am Mini Race
8:45am Rego Closed and Race Briefing
9:00am Male Sprint wave
9:05am Female Sprint wave
9:15am Male Super Sprint wave
9:20am Female Super Sprint wave
Pricing:
$15 for Triathlon Australia 19/20 financial members:
$25 for Non-Members / General Public:
$5 for <19 (Members or non-members)
$10 per leg for teams, regardless of distance
Please register online prior to the day, it makes the day run a lot smoother and makes the timing person a little less cranky

Central West Interclub – Orange – Sunday 16 February
The fourth race of the Central West Interclub Series is our home event and will be held at Gosling Creek on Sunday 16th February. We are keeping everything crossed for the completion of the wide cycle path/internal track. Unfortunately with the water quality being unsuitable for recreational use this event will have an amended duathlon format – being run, bike, run. Stay tuned for more details next week.

More details to follow but the committee is planning an Event Village to commence around 3pm with racing to start at 4pm in the Gosling Creek Precinct. All ladies welcome and are encouraged to join us for a celebration of ladies participating in triathlon.
