Bring your friends, work colleagues, daughters, mothers and grandmothers. OTC members and non members welcome.
All you need is a pair of swimmers or top and shorts/lycra pants, a bike (any sort – MTB, Road, Tri or city cruiser) and helmet that are in safe working order and a pair of runners.
In conjunction with the NSW Triathlon Finish Lines Not Finish Times Program OTC have our annual Sandy Ostini Ladies Colour Event on Sat 9th Dec at Gosling. Registrations are now open.
The entry is a 100% donation to the Cancer Council, a charity close to the Ostini family. Wear your brightest colours and join this triathlon or duathlon which is all about finish lines, not finish times. All entrants receive a medal and our drinks and nibbles after-party to celebrate.
Distance is 200m swim (or 800m run for duathletes) / 8.8km bike / 2km run – all inside our world class crit track and away from cars. If you want to swim – any aids are accepted for the swim leg (wetsuits, flippers, floaties, noodles etc) and we will have paddle boards out there if you need to pause and catch your breath. Water temp last weekend was between 19-20 degrees and only getting warmer. If you need to borrow a wetsuit or bike, let us know your size or height at octc@octc.org.au and we’ll try to get what you need amongst the OTC community.
Register now and join us for a safe and fun event!
For our male club members please come out for the afternoon – Setup from 3pm, help out where you can and enjoy a drink and nibbles afterwards.

In partnership with NSW Triathlon we wish to thank Orange City Council for our fantastic venue, Orange Bush Nippers for our water safety, Robyn Low-Hart and NSW Tri Staff, Aus Tri Technical Officials, Tilly Offord our commentator, our OTC Committee and club members and our many many volunteers who helped us out over the weekend to make the weekend such a huge success, despite sometimes challenging weather conditions.
Thankyou also Swinging Bridge for the wines, Orange Clothing Company the caps, The Grind Coffee Van for our caffeine needs and Choox for our buffet lunch.
To all the athletes, coaches, parents and families who made the trip to Orange and competed with such determination, enthusiasm, sportsmanship and camaraderie we thank you for lifting the standard of this event each and every year.
NSW Triathlon have uploaded a number of photo albums from the Juniors weekend on their Facebook page. Check them out!
Megan Goodwin – Re-elected to the NSW Triathlon Board of Directors
A massive congratulations to club treasurer Megan Goodwin who has been re-elected to the NSW Triathlon Board of Directors.
Megan has been a huge asset to the Piranhas since joining the Club in 2012 and we have no doubt that she will continue to make a similarly positive contribution to the sport of triathlon in NSW through her continued involvement on the board.
Well done Megs!
