Our event this Sun 21 Jan @ Gosling Creek
Hi Piranhas and friends,
We have our first event of 2024 this Sunday 21 Jan at Gosling Creek with a range of options at our club event:
Click here to register – pls do so by 6pm Sat evening so we can then do our part to have timing chips ready on Sun morning. We will take rego on Sunday but help us with register by Sat night please 🙂
Here’s the details:
7:00am: set up, helpers encouraged to come out to help with the bike racking and signage
7:30am: rego in front of Gosling Creek shed
7:50am: Safety Briefing for Zoom
8:00am: Zoom Race (internal) 50m swim, 2.2km ride, 500m run
8:05am: Safety Briefing for Short Course
8:15am: Short Course (internal): pick one, they start at the same time
Option A: Triathlon: Swim 270m / Ride 8.8km (4 x big internal loop) / Run 2km (2 x gravel loops)
Option B: Duathlon: Run 1km / Ride 8.8km (4 x big internal loop) / Run 2km (2 x gravel loop)
8:50am: Safety Briefing for Sprint:
9:00am: Long Course (external): pick one, they start at the same time.
Option A: Triathlon: Swim 540m / Bike 23km (external) / Run 4.4km (2 x big internal loop)
Option B: Duathlon: Run 2km / Bike 23km (external) / Run 4.4km (2 x big internal loop)
COST Club members – Free Non-Club members – Short Course, $15 / Long Course, $30
Orange Bush Nippers will be on the water on their boards to support all of our athletes!
This is a great hit out before round 2 of the Interclub at Bathurst, with the traditional Australia Day race on 26 Jan. More Piranhas = More Points!
