Following will be a selection of photos from the very successful juniors day. Most featuring Dave Selwood who is leaving Orange for Victoria.
Below is Sandy Ostini’s farewell message…
We will all miss our wonderful Dave AKA……. Ironman Dave……… DNF……….. Dave “get a shirt on/(get your shirt off)” Selwood, and also more recently fondly known to the Walton family as “John Boy”. For those of us lucky to know him and regardless of whatever name you call him, we will always call him “FRIEND”!!!
Orange Triclub won’t be the same without you Dave, (my camera will certainly miss your cheeky smile, and friendly wave)………we will all miss you and wholeheartedly wish you all the very best with your future endeavours in “Mexico” (sounds like Bendigo), and look very much forward to catching up with you on your return visits home!!
As Dan B mentioned today also, thanks so much for always being so encouraging of the junior triathletes, especially young Kyle (you are indeed a wonderful mentor, role model, and quite simply Kyle’s hero”!). Bryce too appreciates your support and enthusiasm regarding his photography, your genuine interest in them both means so much, they both hold you in very high regard, they too will miss their “big bro” ……. Dave if our two grow up to be half the fine young man that you are, Frank & I will indeed be more than happy and very proud!!!!
