Results over the past month
Hi Piranhas and friends,
While the club is gearing up for our hosted events from 08 Oct – see previous posts or our calendar – our members have been in action over the last month.
Two junior members who have recently shined are Will Ward who raced in the Victorian Duathlon Series on 27 Aug at Scoresby and Sam Bayada who raced in the South Australian Duathlon Champs on 10 Sep in Adelaide – both gained valuable points in their quest to qualify for the Australian age group team for the World Champs in Townsville in Aug 2024. We will track their progress and we wish them well for their goal!
Congrats to Hannah McDermott who competed in the Trex Port Stephens NSW Cross Tri Champs on 02 Sep and had a great race. She just missed a podium in her age group with a 4th place.
And we had members recently compete in the City2Surf on 13 Aug, Dubbo Stampede on 27 Aug, Orange’s Newcrest Challenge on 10 Sep and Bathurst’s Edgell Jog on 17 Sep. And we wish Erica and Paul Eccleston, Megan Goodwin and Dave Hunter well for the Western Sydney Half Ironman this Sun 24 Sep, as well as our friends of the club also from Orange who are in teams for the event.
