Track and Shed opening during the TNSW Billigence Pathway Championship Series
The upgraded multipurpose track OTC shed was officially opened on the weekend during the Triathlon NSW Billigence Pathway Championship event for NSW Pathway athletes aged 13-23 years.

The Honorary Andrew Gee, Federal Member for Calare, Hon. Sam Farraway, National Party Member of the Legislative Council, Phil Donato, State Member for Orange and Member of the Legislative Council, Councillor Reg Kidd, Mayor of Orange, Matt Armstrong, Newcrest Cadia Valley, Orange Credit Union.
Funding contributing to the building of these new community resources came from:
NSW State Government Stronger Country Communities $256k; NSW State Government My Community Grant $110k; Newcrest Community Grant $50k; NSW State Government Local Sporting Grant Program $12.3k; Federal Government Round 4 of the Stronger Communities Programme $12k; Orange City Council grant for the shed $11; Orange Credit Union Grant $3k.
Some of the upgrades being enjoyed at Gosling Creek are:
Beach at the entrance of the swim start; Potable water; Shed -also used by Park Run and Nippers; Upgraded 1.2km track – used by the entire community (General public, kids, skateboarders, bikes, roller blades, scooters, prams) and community groups like the Cycle Club, Park Run, Running Festival, Schools and Human Powered Vehicles.

Triathlon NSW CEO and NSW President attended the Pathways event, the third in a series of six. It was a very successful weekend, at the ‘best venue in the State’, according to Triathlon NSW.
