Triathlon 7 Dec, Open Water Swim Comp 10 Dec, Transition Training 16 Dec (& more!)

RACE THIS WEEKEND!

Our next triathlon of the season is on this Sunday 7 December at Lake Canobolas.
The focus of this event is on our midgets and juniors, who are the future of our club. Please come out and support the kids who love nothing more than a clap and a cheer as they complete their races. All midgets and juniors will get a special surprise at the finish line to make their day that bit more special.

Now that the craziness of Interclub is done, we are back to our usual full contingent of races including the return of the sprint distance race.

Registrations from 8am, with the following races:

Midgets  – 50m – 600m – 400m @ 8:30am

Juniors  – 80m – 2km – 800m @ 8:45am

Short Internal – 150m – 5km – 1km @ 9am

Short External – 150m – 6km – 1km @ 9:30am

Mid – 150m – 10km – 2.5km  @ 9:30am

Long – 400m – 20km – 5km @ 9:30am

Sprint –  750m – 20km – 5km @ 9:30am

No charge for these races, unless you are not a Triathlon Australia member in which case you will need to purchase a day license for $10. Timing chips will also be available for purchase for $10.

Can everyone please present at the registration area to make sure that we have you entered for the correct race distance and your timing chip number and TA number is correct. Please put a tick next to your name on the paper list once you have reviewed your information so that we know that it has been checked and all is correct.

We still need non-racing volunteers to fill traffic marshal positions. Plese contact us if you can help out.

PAYMENT FOR INTERCLUB

It has come to our attention that not everyone was aware that there was a charge for the Interclub race for Orange club members. If you didn’t pay on the day, it would be appreciated if you could fix us up this weekend.

Costs were as follows:

Midgets – free

Juniors – $5

Short Internal – $10

Interclub – $15 + $10 for day license fee if not a member of Triathlon Australia

If you had kids competing as part of the Kinross Squad, the school will forward you a request for payment. No need to pay us.

UNIFORMS

There will be limited stock available for purchase after the race on Sunday. We will also be opening up another online Scody shop to purchase trisuits in the next week or so, as well as making an exciting announcement regarding club outerwear.  Watch this space!
