Volunteers required for the Breaking of the Ice – THIS SUNDAY

Hope you are all ready for the first event of the season this Sunday 27 September – The Breaking of the Ice duathlon. More to the point, have you psyched yourself up for total immersion in the freezing cold lake afterwards?

As with all of our races, we require a host of volunteers in order to be able to run a safe and efficient event. We ask that every member of the Orange Cycling and Triathlon Club put their hand up to volunteer at least once during the season and urge you to consider what you might be able to do to help out. That said, you do not need to be a member to volunteer. We welcome friends, parents, grandparents and supporters to become involved.

With the birth of our new website, we have added functionality to enable you to nominate yourself to the volunteer roster found here: https://octc.org.au/volunteer/

At this stage, we have posted only the Breaking of the Ice volunteer roster, but we hope to have the remainder of our club events up on this page in the coming weeks to enable you to nominate your volunteering duties for the rest of the season. Please continue to check back regularly – and please put your hand up for a job! Without volunteers we cannot race!
