Big Month Ahead – Lots on Offer for Members

Hi Piranhas and friends and welcome to our weekly newsletter / posting,

Four events in just over 2 weeks..another bumper month ahead. We hope to see you lots at Gosling Creek.

Twilight event – Fri 3rd Feb:

set up from 5:30pm at Gosling Creek for events at 6:00pm, 6:25pm. 6:50pm

    • Take your pick from the options here, and choose to do any of them once, twice or thrice:
    • Open Water Swim – One lap (270m) or two (540m)
    • Small Loop Triathlon – 140m swim, 4km bike, 800m run
    • Aquabike – 270m swim, 4km bike
    • Duathlon – 400m run, 4km bike, 800m run
    • Aquathon – 270m swim, 800m run
      • All bike legs will be on the small internal loop.

Club event – Sun 5th Feb: set up from 7:00am at Gosling Creek for events at 8am and 8:45am

    • 8am: Super sprint triathlon: 270m swim/ 8.8km bike (4 big internal loops) / 1km run
    • 8am: Super sprint duathlon: 1km run / 8.8km bike (4 big internal loops) / 1km run
    • 8:45m: Sprint triathlon: 540m swim / 22km bike / 4.4km run
    • 8:45am Sprint duathlon: 2km run / 22km ride / 4.4km run

    • we run safe and fun events and have the Orange Bush Nippers on boards for the swim leg…it is a great prep for our Interclub.

Rd 3 of Central West InterClub – Sun 12 Feb at Gosling Creek from 8:00am (TBC)

    • More information and registration link to come next week.
    • We hope to see many Piranha athletes and volunteers.
    • This Sunday 5/2 is a great chance to practice the distances on offer.
