NSW Club Championships fast approaching!

Hi to all OCTC Members, Family & Friends

After a busy club season and regaining the Interclub trophy, there is only one thing left to do, go to Forster and show the rest of the state one of the best kept triathlon secrets, the strength of OCTC.

For the first time we are taking a team to the NSW Club Championships in Forster on Saturday 2 April 2016, this marks an exciting time for the club as we continue to grow not only in numbers but in reputation.  There are 3 divisions that clubs are divided into based on membership numbers, and we go to Forster as a “Division 1” club, we are proudly one of the largest triathlon clubs in NSW, not a bad effort given our climate and geography!

It is now time to declare, if you intend on going to Forster you need to enter.  There are races for juniors in the morning followed by the seniors in the afternoon, and from all accounts the Club Championships are known more for the social aspect than the physical.

We will be taking the club marquee and setting a base for all competitors, family and friends.  We intend this to be a celebration!

One of the best parts of this event is that you can contribute if you are not competing, by volunteering you earn valuable points for the club, so if you are going to watch, why not volunteer?
