OCC Tallwood Forest Reefs Race – Saturday 5th November
This Saturday 5 November the Orange Cycle Club will host their first race at the Tallwood course in nearly 3 years. Good racing is promised and there are cold beers close by to reward yourself afterwards!
The race is a 2 lap handicap (36km) – details of the course can be found at https://www.strava.com/routes/6856548
Sign on will be from 2.30pm with race start at 3pm.
Entry fees are $5 per person, $2.50 for juniors and $10 for a family.
There is parking available near the Forest Reefs Tavern in the carpark. Please keep the area around the tavern free to we ensure we are welcomed back. Start area is close by.
All Tri Club members are required to bring their Triathlon Australia membership license on the day. If you don’t have a membership yet but are interested in trying out cycle racing, there is an option to register online for a 3 race trial license (see here https://eventdesq.imgstg.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=main&EventDesqID=14967&OrgID=4912).
Remember that as it is a cycling race, TT bikes are not allowed, so make sure you leave home with your road bike (with no tri bars).
