OCTC Training Rides have commenced!

Some of you may be aware of the Wednesday Night Dash and Saturday Morning Coffee rides, which typically have been well supported by members of the Orange Cycle Club. Following wide consultation with each of the cycling-related clubs in Orange, these rides will become formalised as Orange Cycle and Triathlon Club  CLUB TRAINING RIDES.
This move recognises that OCTC was incorporated as a single entity in 1991 and incorporates two entities, the Cycle Club and the Triathlon Club, each affiliated with their own national bodies. There is a crossover of members between the two, as well as with a range of other cycling organisation, including MTBA, Bicycle NSW and Bicycle Network.
All riders will be expected to be members of a cycling-related organisation that provides insurance in the event of an accident.
With Daylight Savings finally with us, the Wednesday Dash has already commenced as of this week and will continue weekly departing at 6.00pm from the east side of Jack Brabham Park. It is approximately a 25km out and back course to the airport.
The Saturday morning ride departs east side of Jack Brabham at 7am and is approximately a 56km loop through Tallwood and back with plenty of options to cut short. These rides have the added appeal of a coffee afterwards at Bills Beans.
Bunches will be organised according to average speeds of riders.
