Piranha’s big day out – Western Sydney 70.3

The Orange Piranhas were out in force at the Western Sydney Ironman 70.3 event last weekend. There were many PB’s, return to racing and so many personal achievements.

Congratulations to: Trini Allen, Mark Coleman, Erica and Paul Eccelston, Carolyn Egan, Megan Goodwin, Dave Hunter, Olivia Kite, Ruanna Levi, Mindy Smith, Tony Selwood, Michelle Thompson, and Kate Thornton, and a huge thank you to our supporters: John Chevis, Iain Jones, Jess and John Thompson, Andrew Glastonbury and Simon Lun…. who arrived onsite at 5.00am! That is true dedication to our sport.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces on the road, at accommodation and eating venues, in transition, at the finishing line and at the Club tent. The Piranhas received many mentions from Ironman commentator, Pete Murray throughout the weekend.  He loves our Club!!

A weekend like this reminds us what is so awesome about our sport, our Club and team mates. We can’t wait to see you at the next event, whether it is at Gosling Creek or further afield.
