The fourth and final round of our Twilight series is on Fri 02 Dec at Gosling Creek. The first three have been fantastic sunset events and we are sure the final one will be as well.

Meet at the tri shed at 5:30pm and rack your bike, or help others to rack theirs. You choose to do either a short triathlon or duathlon, and you choose from 6pm, 6:30pm or 6:50pm, so you can do 1, 2 or 3! Aimed for both current members and people giving multi sport their very first try (pun intended :).

Sandy Ostini Ladies Colour Triathlon / Duathlon – Sat 10 Dec @ Gosling from 3:30pm

We have our Sandy Ostini Ladies Colour Event on Sat week at Gosling. Registrations are now open at this link . The entry is a 100% donation to the Cancer Council, a charity close to the Ostini family. Wear your brightest colours and join this triathlon or duathlon which is about finish lines, not finish times. All entrants receive a medal and our after-party to celebrate.

Distance is 200m swim (or 800m run for duathletes) / 8.8km bike / 2km run – all inside our world class track and away from cars. Any aids are accepted for the swim leg (wetsuits, flippers, noodles etc) and we will have paddle boards out there if you need to pause and catch your breath. Water temp last weekend was between 18-19 degrees and only getting warmer. If you need to borrow a wetsuit or bike, let us know your size or height at octc@octc.org.au and we’ll get what you need amongst the OTC community.

Register now and join us for a safe and fun event!

Juniors Weekend last weekend

Wow, what a great event we hosted last weekend with Triathlon NSW – 130 Junior triathletes from around the State and included two junior paratriathletes. A massive thank you to our members, parents and committee for their volunteer work leading in, during and after the weekend, and to the fabulous Orange Bush Nippers, Swinging Bridge, Ross Hill Wines, and Pete Willis at Velocity.

Justin Stent took a stack of great photos and we’ve featured some on our updated home page.

Thanks, Dave
