Cycle Race – 22nd October + training rides
This Saturday 22nd October will see OCTC Cycle Club hold its 2nd race of the season on the Huntley/Forest Road loop. This is a challenging course that caters to more than just the mountain goats in the club and always throws up some great racing. Sign on from 2.30pm with racing to start at 3pm. A,B,C,D,E grades racing leaving from Bargwanna Road Car park. This is an OCTC event with sanctioning from both the cycle and tri associations.
Finally we had good weather for a large group ride on Saturday. Just a reminder that the 2 weeks grace period is up and that you will need to now be a member of one of the following clubs to be able to ride in the club sanctioned Wednesday Dash and Saturday Morning Training ride: Cycling Australian-Ride or Race Membership ( from $65), Triathlon Australia ( from $130/year), MTB Australia ( free 2 month trial then from $95/year), Bicycle Network ( from $125/year) and Bicycle NSW ( from $115/year).
