Piranhas take InterClub title, and Club Champs Duathlon

Hi Piranhas and Friends,

First place for OTC. After three years, it is great to see us return to the top of the Interclub Table with Mudgee having taken the series over the past two years. Congrats to all of our members who raced in the four Interclub races over the summer and thank you to our friends and competitors at Bathurst, Cowra, Dubbo and Mudgee for the season. You can see how close it was, so each participant at each event was crucial.

Club Champs 17 Mar – now a Duathlon due algae at Goz

As you all know, our final event for the season is this Sunday 17 Mar at Gosling Creek with our annual Club Championships. Council have reported this afternoon that the algae levels are at amber level and so we will not swim this Sunday. So we will have Duathlons to finish the season. Here is the link to register please by 6pm Sat 16 Mar.

Note it is unlikely we will have timing chips, so wear a watch if you want to capture your times.

There is roadwork on the Airport Loop so we will check the status of that on Saturday and make a decision on whether we can ride safely on it and post on Facebook and on our website, aim by 6pm on Sat afternoon. If it is not safe we will use the internal loop for the Sprint event as well.

Look forward to the final event for our season!
