This season we are certainly facing some challenges with water quality for our open water swims and the upgrade to the Gosling Creek Cycle Track but this Sunday is Club Race Day.
The water quality is still at an Amber Level and a quick look out there this week there is definitely no way we want to put our members health at risk with a swim.
The internal cycle track has had a seal cover put down ready for asphalt next week but with the loose gravel it is unsafe for internal racing.
We have selected to go with a Duathlon format (Run – Bike – Run) this Sunday with an external bike leg for both the super sprint and sprint races.
Both events start at 8:00am.
Registration and setup from 7:30am.
Cost – Free
Super Sprint – Run 1.2km loop, Ride Bloomfield Rd to Hiney Road loop 14kms, Run 1.2km loop (once or twice).
Sprint – Run 2.4km loop, Ride Airport Loop 23kms, Run 2.4km loop (once or twice).
