Sandy Ostini Colour Triathlon and Duathlon – Saturday 9th December 2023

It was a wonderful afternoon out at Gosling Creek for the Sandy Ostini Triathlon and Duathlon last saturday.

Some solid money was raised for cancer research as well as being a great participation event for the women members and friends of Orange Piranhas – finish lines not finish times!

Thanks to all the volunteers and participants who came out despite the heat and made this event possible. Thanks also to Cas Ingham for the finisher flowers.

Bathurst Wallabies 2023 Bathurst RSL Club Christmas Triathlon – Sunday 10th December 2023

Congratulations to our own Sam Bayada, Bianca De Swardt and Tess McKeown who podiumed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the 2023 Bathurst RSL Club Christmas Triathlon last sunday.
WRAS Triathlon Coach Tristan Harrison organised a team of the WRAS athletes to race the 2023 Bathurst RSL Club Christmas Triathlon with one of his young stars Sam Bayada taking out the Open Men’s Individual event.
Sam and well performed local triathlete Thomas “Rudolph Claus” Hanrahan got out of the pool together, with Mr Claus talking the lead in the bike leg. However both Bayada and Timothy Miller finished fast in the run leg, with Bayada defeating Miller and Claus in the open Individual race.
Tristan Harrison also finished in the Top 10.
Whilst top class Bathurst triathlete Mercede Cornelius-Feltus recorded the second fastest time on the day to win the Individual Female 2023 Bathurst RSL Christmas Triathlon. She finished in front of a group of promising Western Region Academy of Sport Triathletes who dominated the top 5 including our own Bianca De Swardt who was second in front of Tess McKeown, third.
 

OCTC Overarching AGM – Wednesday 20th December 7:30pm

The AGM for the overarching Association of Orange Cycle and Triathlon Club will be held at 7:30pm via teams.

There will be a quick report from the Tri Club and Cycle Club regarding last season, presentation of the Financials for the 2022/2023 year and the election of OCTC committee members and Office Bearers.

Orange Tri Club T-shirt purchase – 2023/2024

Now is a great time to purchase one of our vibrant orange Club t-shirts.

Shirts will be sold at cost for $30.00 (plus booking admin fee) and supplied by our great supporters at Orange Clothing Company.

The size chart in the Try Booking portal will allow you to get the perfect size for you or your child.

The Order portal will remain open until 5pm on Friday 5th January 2024.

We will phone or email you when your t-shirt is ready for collection.

Orders close on  Friday 5th January 2024 at 5pm. We hope to get the shirts in time for the Orange Interclub on 11th February 2024.
