Successful OCTC Club Champs wraps up triathlon season
It was near perfect conditions for triathletes out at Lake Canobolas on Sunday as they battled it out for the coveted title of ‘OCTC Club Champion’ for the 2015/16 season. Both of the defending champions, Connor Whiteley and Lauren Kerwick, were out to retain their titles but they were up against some tough competition this year. Connor proved too strong for the rest of the field, running down David Selwood who had the lead after the bike leg. In the females, Kim Dale was victorious holding off a fast finishing Estelle Dean on the run! The racing was so quick on Sunday, all competitors should be proud of their efforts. Thank you to everyone who has assisted us with volunteering duties over the season, your time has been much appreciated.
