Upcoming Events for November and December 2022
Things are really hotting up this month with plenty of events to get involved in for both new comers and club members.
If you or a friend have been thinking about doing a triathlon or duathlon this year then now is the best time to get started.
If you have previously been a club member now is a great time to re-join Orange Triathlon Club. For 2022/2023 all OTC club members will receive free entry for all local and Central West Interclub races plus a free OTC swim cap.
With the recent cold snap this week all local events coming up will have both a triathlon (swim, bike, run) and duathlon (run, bike, run) option so no need to worry about the water temperature. We have you covered and will give you the option to pick the event format that suits you.
Friday Night Twilight Sessions – 4 weeks starting 11/11/2022 to 2/12/2022. 5:30pm for 6:00pm start at Gosling Creek. Free training sessions with short distances to practice your skills and build confidence as we lead into this seasons events. Do 1, 2 or all 3 short events for the night. Sausage Sizzle to catchup afterwards.
OTC Club Race – Sunday 13th November – 8am race start. This will be our first club race for the year at Gosling Creek.
Mudgee Interclub – Sunday 20th November – Calling all members to help OTC regain the Central West Interclub title. Club points for both distances.
Juniors Weekend – Billigence Pathway Championship Series. Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November. Our biggest fundraising event for the season. Not only will you see the best juniors and under 23 triathletes race from across NSW, there is also an opportunity for our OTC juniors to experience a number of training and race events over the weekend. If you can help out by volunteering please let us know by emailing octc@octc.org.au. Volunteers are needed 7am-5pm Saturday and 7am-1pm Sunday.
Sandy Ostini Ladies Colour Triathlon or Duathlon – Saturday 10th December. 4:00pm race start at Gosling Creek. A great way to have a bit of fun and help raise funds for the Orange Cancer Council in Sandy’s name.
OTC Club Race – Saturday 10th December. More details to come.
